Brazilian hammocks are gorgeous, tough and durable. They are also super comfortable and generally cost very little. Their main drawback is bulk. They are a bit bulkier and heavier than Mayan or parachute hammocks and also don't roll up quite as small. For this reason, I would not recommend a Brazilian hammock for traveling, but they're great for using around the house or garden. They are also warmer, making them less ideal for a hot and humid climate.
